Brass Wire Mesh
Brass wire mesh is a woven wire mesh where warp and weft (woof / filling) wires are interlaced at right angles. In other words, each warp wire and each weft wire pass over one, two or other amounts of wires, and then under the next one, two or other amounts of wires. Brass is an alloy that is comprised of copper and zinc, and, like copper, brass is soft and malleable and is attacked by ammonia and similar salts. As a wire mesh, the most commonly available brass woven wire mesh is referred to as “270 yellow brass” and has a chemical composition of approximately 65% copper, 35% zinc. “260 high brass”, which consists of 70% copper and 30% zinc is also a popular in the mesh industry. Characteristic 1.Good thermal and electrical conductivity 2.High strength· 3.Good corrosion resistance Applications of brass wire mesh 1.Brass wire cloth suits for liquid filtration, particle separation, air silencing, and decorative applications. 2.Brass wire mesh is suitable for some other applications, such as papermaking process, chemical, oil strainers, plumbing screen, etc.Copper wire mesh

Specification
Copper wire mesh is ductile, malleable and has high thermal and electrical conductivity, and copper and its alloys have been used for thousands of years, . As a result, it is popularly used as RFI shielding, in Faraday Cages, in roofing, in HVAC and in numerous electrical-based applications.Copper wire mesh is durable in many types of atmospheres. Although it is softer than a similar stainless steel wire mesh, it is also resistant to atmospheric corrosion but attacked by oxidizing agents such as nitric acid, ferric chloride, cyanides, and ammonia acid compounds. Copper wire mesh is usually woven to the industry standard, ASTM E-2016-11, is 99.9% pure copper and, when exposed to the atmosphere, will naturally develop a thin green layer. Characteristic 1.Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity 2.EMI and RFI shielding 3.Good malleable, pliable, and ductile 4.Atmospheric corrosion resistance Applications of copper wire mesh 1.Faraday cages may use copper wire mesh screen because it can shield EMI and RFI. Cable circuits, laboratories or computer rooms may also use it for shielding. Usually, the higher the mesh count, the better the shielding ability. 2.Electrical applications may use copper woven wire mesh because of its mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. 3.Copper wire mesh screen is also suitable for a variety of applications and industries, like aerospace, marine, military shelters, electric heaters, energy storage, insect screen/pest control screen, papermaking, etc. 4.Copper woven wire mesh is suitable for filtering liquid, gas, solid, etc.
